The commissioning process starts with a conversation with the clients (identifying works and forms that have resonated with them.) Spending time in their environment throughout the day, understanding the light and views, scale and setting—dialogue between the potential sculpture and the client. I put together a proposal that addresses the context of the particular site and parameters.
